I’ve been a web designer for almost 8 years now. In that time, I’ve designed almost 500 websites. I’ve worked for small businesses, large corporations, and even a celebrity. I strive to make each project better than the last and am always researching the latest methods of design, usability, and website security.
Here are some of the details to each of my three core principles of design. Simplicity, Speed, and Increasing Revenue.
Simplicity & Easy To Manage Websites
One thing I’ve learned is that no website should be complicated. I’ve done many redesigns and found that some people complicate the web design process. It shouldn’t have to be complicated.
I make sure that each website I design can easily be managed by you or one of your employees. After all, why pay for a website if you need to contact someone every time you need an update? I don’t think that’s fair.
Speed & Optimization
Did you know that if your website doesn’t load in 3 seconds, 40% of your customers are already gone? (Source: Entrepreneur)
For this reason alone, you should be thinking about website speed. This goes right alongside simplicity, as complicated websites have complicated scripts, which take well over 3 seconds to load.
I use a process that has minimal front-end code, making your website load fast, and even faster for repeat customers using a unique caching technique I developed.
My website design techniques always take speed into account. Not only will it attract and retain customers, but ensure that your business properly presents itself to potential clients.
Increasing Your Revenue
Speed and simplicity both increase revenue in their own right, but as a UX trained designer I take this a step further.
UX designers like myself have done years of research to study the behavior of website visitors and what exactly makes them purchase a product or sign up for a mailing list.
I bring these years of training to your project. I know the exact steps and techniques to make sure you increase your sales and conversions without having to spend more on marketing. Your customers are already there, I just make them pull the trigger.
I’ve followed up with clients and discovered that my websites have generated almost $400,000 additional revenue for small businesses. I can do the same for you!
